out first snow day

Hey, it's our first snow day since march and when I say it snows, it snows! I'm not talking about a little bit of snowflkes falling, it's snowing alot but what can you expect living in Chicago? WELL, HOPE everyone has a safe and fun holiday! Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, you all know that Thanksgiving is Thursday and you know what that means. Friday is shopping day! At north riverside mall they are giving away free gift baskets for the first 300 people to get there including a wool blanket, 5$ gift card for Starbucks, tons of valuable coupons, ND TEN LUCKY WINNERS WILL FIND A $100 gift certificate for the mall! Also, 5 people who shop in their pajamas will be chosen at random to recieve a 200$ gift certificate for the mall. Isn't that great? well, get back to ya later.

I have to focus more on school

I really have to do better in school. So, at least for now, I'm totally gonna forget about boys and my friends. I mean, I won't stop talking to my friends but I think you get my point. Good news is I have an A in math. But Math isnt everything.

I was wrong!

Omg! I was wrong! He's not a jerk! It was all a lie!!! The truth is that he left because he had to go to his friends house but he said he was sorry! I'm sooo happy! I guess I didn't overestimate him. I underestimated him! I wonder what he thinks of me. If he sees me as spoiled, or down-to-earth. Smart or dumb. So, antway, my mom is supposed to go to my cottillion on friday. I'm kinda nervous. Well, I'll get back to you later!

Never overestimate a boy

Well, I guess not everyone is lucky when it comes to boys. I guess I never really was. Friday was the dance at school and I was having so much fun dancing with my friends. My friend got this crazy idea to ask SOMEONE to dance with me. She ashured me that he would say yes because he's such a nice guy. Wrong! She told him, do you want to dance with Evelyn and he said" if it has anything to do with Evelyn then I;m leaving." And guess what? He left! I guess you can't expect more from a guy as cute as him. I just thought he was different. I totally overestimated this guy. My advice? Don't ever, no matter hos nice a guy seems, overestimate him.

basketball

I'm really liking basketball this season. The girls there are so much nicer than from my old basketball team. Yesterday I had practice and came home sweatier than I had ever been! It's great exercise though and I don't miss my old school at all! I'll admit I miss some of my friends but not the school. It was so small and there was nothing special about it. I'm so glad to be in a school were people can finally accept who I am.

Why are so many people talking so bad about preps? It's not really fair. Most people think that preps are snobby rich kids who don't care about school. That's not really how they act. Okay, preppy people are people who like to wear ralph lauren, juicy couture, and other name brands not because they are expensive but because they are a type of clothing that they like. Preps are get Very good grades and really care about they're school work. They are not always rich. So please, if you are just going to be writing bad about preps, please dont tell me about it. Especially you Genny. I dont think you know what it really means so please stop because people are going to start getting mad at you by the way you write about them. If anyone thinks I'm write about this then comment this post. If you dont then i'll think you dont belive that what I am typing is true.

The vanessa scandel

Okay ,people make mistakes, you can't say that you've never made mistakes in your life right? I totally support Vanessa and I think it's really unfair that she got fired and is getting replaced with some other girl. Okay, there will never be a better actress for high school musical than her. I mean, look at her voice! I'ts so nice! And what she said about britney an lindsey being stupid for what they do is true! She's not talking about them being supid because of their personel life but that they are being stupid for doing drugs and partying all the time! This just proves that I really am a Vanessa fan because I didnt stop liking her for some dumb little mistake she mad. And if there is a high school musical 3 without Vanessa then Zach won't want to be in it and what's the point of the movie without Zanessa???

We're back!

Hey! I'm back from california! It was pretty fun! We didnt go to Beverly Hills though but we did go to Santa Monica and Long Beach. I'm with my dad right now and we are going to Dave and Busters later on. I have soo much homework! Well guess I should get started after I'm done posting this. So we had cotillion yesterday and I think it was the best one so far. If anyone has any links to websites about May Day plaese send them to me! I'm doing my history fair project on that topic. I've been thinking about this today and I just thought i'd share it with you. I starting thinking and came up with this quote.

Why should young girls feel bad about being pretty or having a nice body just because of some dumb perverts that have nothing better to do than to be looking at young minors and thinking wrong? Why should young girls have to walk around in sweat pants in the heat because we can't even wear jeans thanks to these perverts? Why should we be walking around with our head down because we dont want to look at anyone straight in the eye? No, it's not right. It's time someone took a stand in this because since when has it been right to take someone's dignity away and make them feel guilty about how they look even when they don't wear revealing clothing? So, if you can, tell or send this to whoever you know that could pass this on.

yesterday

so,we went to the movies yesterday. We saw Death Sentance. Then, we went to Yorktown , so ate dinner at cici's. So, I bought a shirt from aeropostale and one from Juicy Couture. My head has been hurting all weekend. I guess it's a migrane if it won't stop hurting. I Think i'll wear the Juicy Cuture shirt on Monday On my grandma's birthday. Then, when we come out of uniform for school school one day I'll wear that shirt. So, that was my saturday. How was your's?

crazy

sometimes its crazy because I know that I'm pretty and stuff but whenever I like a guy two or three guys like me at the same time but whenever I like a guy he never likes me. Isn't crazy? So, yea, my mom thinks I like Zach but I don't know how to tell her that I don't. This is hard sometimes. Well, maybe I'm not that pretty but I'm at least average. Hope fully it'll be different with this guy. I mean there's a girl in my school who's kissed half of the guys she's gone out with and I've never even gone out with anyone! So, I know for a fact that i'm not going too fast if I go out with someone. Well, to me going out with someone really just means that two people like each other and stuff but not like dating cuz going out with someone isn't serious at all. So, yea. I'm a little confused

So, I guess I like someone. If mom, you read,ummm... that's why I don't want to go out with Zach. So, Yea, I like this kid in my class. He's soooo cute! He's really nice too. So, I know it's kind of crazy how I keep writing about zac efron because I'm pretty sure that I'll be head over heels again over someone but hey, like I said before, can't a girl fantasize a little?

gurnee mills

So Gurnee Mills was pretty good. It was better than I had expected. I went to Abercrombie and Fitch but the things were a little too pricey for the clothes that they had there os saturday so I ended up buying from abercrombie and fitch. I bought a medium sleeved shirt and a short
sleeved shirt that says abercrombie on the front. I also went to aeropostale and bought a long sleeved yellow shirt with a hood in the back and I bought my mom a sweater . I went to DEB and bought 3 tank tops and to hair pieces . I went to clairs and I was ready to pay but there was a really long line so I just left all my things and left that store . We aslso went to american eagle, rue 21, and tg max but I didnt buy anything. I was about to go into hollister but it was so dark! The only place that had light was in the middle of the room so I didnt go in. With my big a&f bag, a heavy deb bag, and my aeropostale bag, we left but to get out we had to pass through a cold Ice rink. So we left and into the pouring rain we ran. We went to have dinner at a pizza place called Bill's pizza. We ordered an xtra large pizza for my dad,tiffany,and me. My dad said it was only an 8 slice pizza and thought he was joking but when the pizza got there little did I know that it was a double decker pizza! So we all had 2 slices of pizza and were insanely full! Of course I was eating the smallest slices I could find but it very filling! So today, on monday I feel really sick! Yesterday my dad and I went to finish buying school supplies so I have everything I need now. I didnt have breakfeast yesterday but I wasn't very hungry considering the fact that I woke up at 11:00am! So berfore we were done buying my things for school of course I had to pick the latest issue of Seventeen. So when we were done we went to the China buffet and I had a plate of food, some soup, a soda and two fortune cookies. I was pretty full. Then we went to target again to buy a few more things that I needed and when we were in the car already my dad was gonna drive me home but we went to dulcelandia first and bought some candy and then he dropped me off at home. About a half hour after I got home my asked if I wanted to eat I replied that I wwas still full. So I didnt eat anything. I woke up today feeling really sick so I took some medicine, made some tea, and had a little fruit. I had this an hour ago and I'm still full. Am I not hungry because I'm sick? Have I been eating too much,normal, or too little? Please tell me so I can be at a healthy weight. Thanks-evy

hey, this is for everyone who has to let go of someone or something they love. I know it can be hard. Whether your going through a break-up, divorce, someone dies, letting go of friends, or someone or something else you love, there's no question that this can be hard because it is very hard. In my life I see my family,friends, and even me going through these changes. But you should know that nothing lasts forever and you need to be able to fight against fire meaning- you can't let anything bring you down because you only live life once after all so make the best of it. So if you going through a break-up or divorce maybe it's a chance to find someone new and if you want to get back the with them then don't make it obvious, it could be the start of something new. So get up on your feet, stop eating so many tubs ice cream and other fatty foods for comfort and prove to the person that left you what they're missing out on. If it's your parents getting divorced remember that they're divorcing each other, not you. If someone important to you is dying remember that you have other people in your life that love. So I hope this post has helped mant of you that may be going through a hard time in your life. -evy

a little about me

Hey everyone! My name is Evelyn ,Evy for short. I'm changing school's this year and am very excited! I used to be a sraight A student and am hoping to be one again this year. I love okay, literally Love Zac Efron from high school musical. I'm so excited about High School Musical 2 that airs tonight at 7pm. Don't forget to watch it! He's sooooo cute. Not like I have a chance of meeting him but can't a girl dream a little? lol I like wearing Abercombie and Fitch and american eagle because the clothing is really comfortable. I have a brother named Daniel who just turned 4 on July 17 and a sister who is 5 and will turn 6 in November. My parents are divorced so I live with my mom and go with my dad every other weekend. My dad is picking me up today and we're going to Gurney Mills on saturday. My mom got remarried and my dad has a girlfriend. Some of my interests include cheerleading. basketball, music, and dancing just to name a few. I want to study design when I get to college.
